It has been a pretty crazy past week for me! I finished up the fiddle model, except for some proportion adjustments I will make in the summer, the severed hand model, and the texture reference sheet. I met with my group over discord this Friday, and I am officially done with tasks for this semester!
Here are some images of my past models:

The fiddle was such hard work. From my last Blog post I spent a lot of hours working to get it finished and ready for animating. I put a lot of work into the scroll and the strings and would say that took up about 70% of the time I took on this model. But, I am super happy with the end product and so was my group. However, when we brought it into layout and discovered that the sizing wasn't quite right for Elias's model. Early over the summer I will go in a adjust it: Luckily, I modeled it a way so I should be able to go in a size the neck and body easily.
The hand model was very easy to do and took me just a few minutes since I was just adjusting the severed arm model that my group member, Drew, had already sculpted and retopologized. All I had to do was delete and reogranize some of the geo, so it was a relaxing task for me.
The most recently thing I worked on was the texture reference sheet with Eliana.
Here is the link to take a look at that:

I am so ready to begin texturing, I enjoyed modeling and thought that it pushed me out of my comfort zone but I know my passion is in texturing. Eliana and I spent a while figuring out films to reference and qualities that we want to include.
Luca is one of our main guides but found others like Coco, La Luna, Alike, and more that we want to use different reasons.
I will present this to the group on Monday and make sure everyone is on board with the direction we want to head.
I can't believe the semester is pretty much over already, and looking back at everything my group has done has been so amazing and I am excited to move onto the next phase of production. Animation, texturing, lighting, and sound will make up a huge portion of the fall semester and I think everything will start coming together.
