The past week has been pretty productive or my team and our progress with the pre-production process!

After class on Wednesday several of my team members worked on setting up a scheduling website and categorized channels in our Discord chat to keep things organized. On Friday of last week, we all hopped in a call for an hour or so to chat about roles and the beginnings of an asset list. This call helped us get set up and ready to each begin on a task. I decided to take on prop concept design for the early stages of the film and was able to start some drawings this week! It has been a bit of a challenge getting back into the grove of school and balancing assignments but because we are still working on a solidified asset list, I have just been brainstorming some ideas. The first asset I decided to take on is a car used in one of the very first scenes.

Here is one rough sketch I did! I looked up old retro cars and liked the shape of this one here. I am still working on colors and might even try some different models of cars; I have this one ready to present to my team on Wednesday and get input before I begin some more drawings.

This coming week I really want to focus on working on as many sketches as I can and putting them into a digital format. It would be great for the modelers (me included) to have the ability to get working on some of these props asap, so I will try to keep myself to a stricter schedule with my illustrations.
